The stimulating action of aromatic plant extracts in wellness and spa

Aromatic plant extracts such as essential oils, cold extracts, absolutes and CO2 extracts are indispensable in today's wellness center and spa service offers. This collection describes a selection of aromatic plant extracts with stimulating properties for use in wellness and spa: from sauna aufguss sessions, over body massage to diffusion in public spaces.

Geert provides services to companies and retail outlets, health professionals, therapists, spa/wellness professionals and educational institutions. The primary focus of his work is on bridging scientific research about scent experience, essential oils and aromatherapy applications and daily life and work conditions, in particular when dealing with stress, lack of energy & burnout, psycho-emotional disorders and pain conditions. Recent assignments include: Member of the educational team at the Collège International d’Aromathérapie Dominique Baudoux (Enghien, Belgium); Lecturer (“Lector”) at VIVES University College "Bachelor in well-being and vitality management" (Kortrijk, Belgium).
In search of new ways to facilitate education in the fields of aromatic plant extracts and aromatherapy, Geert launches the Aromatherapy Learning Platform aroma.news in 2021.
